Orthopedics
Orthopedics focuses on the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system. This includes problems related to the bones, joints, muscles and tendons. The DMA Orthopedic Department has the resources to provide for the medical and surgical management of these problems including the areas of sports medicine, joint replacement, spine surgery and trauma care.
Our staff consists of two Orthopedic Surgeons, a Nurse Practitioner and a Physician Assistant, all of whom are skilled in evaluating and diagnosing orthopedic problems and developing the most appropriated treatment plan. Our Orthopedic Surgeons are Harvard trained and have access to both the Faulkner Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Within DMA, we have the latest laboratory and digital radiographic capabilities on site, as well as access to Podiatry care and Physical Therapy. We also work closely with DMA’s Physiatry Department for management of many soft tissue and chronic pain disorders. Also, easy access to MRI and CT scanning is available.
