Roberta Zysman Chief Executive Officer
October 1, 2012 – Dedham Medical Associates, an affiliate of Atrius Health, is pleased to welcome Roberta S. Zysman as its Chief Executive Officer. Dedham Medical Associates is a multi-specialty medical group practice serving over 80,000 adult and pediatric patients from its locations in Dedham and Norwood, Massachusetts.
Under Ms. Zysman’s leadership, the practice will open a new location for its Norwood office at 1177 Providence Highway in Spring 2013 and expand specialty services in addition to continuing to offer adult primary care, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology care. The new Norwood facility will also include on-site laboratory and radiology services. Both of Dedham Medical Associates’ Internal Medicine practices recently received recognition as Level 3 (the highest possible) Patient-Centered Medical Homes from NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) for demonstrating that they provide first contact, continuous, comprehensive, whole person care for patients across the practice.
Ms. Zysman has extensive experience as a health care executive. Prior to joining Dedham Medical Associates, Ms. Zysman was the executive director and Chief Operating Officer of Beth Israel Deaconess Physician Organization, LLC (BIDPO). In this role, Ms. Zysman directed strategic planning, policy development, and financial and medical management planning and operations. She led their work which resulted in the selection by Medicare of BIDPO as one of only 32 Pioneer Accountable Care Organizations nationally. Ms. Zysman has also worked with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as the director of hospital relations and provider network services, where she managed hospital network relations.
Ms. Zysman is currently the president of the board of directors of the Health Care Financial Management Association, Massachusetts-Rhode Island Chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education from Boston University. She is a resident of Canton, Massachusetts.
